Relation price/quality (at least in low season)
It needs a renovation. Facilities look a little old, especially rooms
The most notable experience at the Hotel Amine was the buffet but that ended when a group of us staying there arrived to find that all the main dinner dishes had been cleared. We were informed that this was because the quota of guests wasn't higher.
Marakkech was going through a heat wave, 46+ degree celsius and there was no air conditioning. The decoration of the rooms looked like it hadn't changed in 25 years. Exceptionally mediocre.
very easy to find by car (between Shell and Total stations on main road between airport and Casablanca/Agadir motorway) . Bus stops outside direct to terminus at Djamaa El Fna.Breakfast ok .Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Very genuine, not condascending.Good security parking with guard inside private hotel courtyard.Tariff clearly displayed.Cashpoints outside.
Bar prices horrendous, even for a hotel
They did not allow full covering swim wear and forced us out of the pool rudely. The air conditioning did not work.
The rooms got balconies, there is a good restauranr nearby.
I checked out of this hotel prior to my planned departure because I did not enjoy myself there. The security guard by the gate introduced me for a taxi driver one morning, as I just said hello to the guard. The taxi driver became verbally abusive and threatening, even all I did was to say hello to him, and politely tell him that I am not interested in a taxi. As I walked away the driver shouted at me and followed me, and I felt really humiliated being in sich a public spot-many people were watching. He shouted: you don't like me, do you need a massage, no honey no money repetedly, and didn't stop even though I said stop it. The security guard of the hotel, who had asked me to speak to him, did absolutely nothing. When I returned to the hotel the texi driver kept shouting at me. When I complained in thge reception they asked me to not speak to the driver. I said that I don't speak to him, but he shouts at me. The driver's name is Mohammed. Another man I spoke to in the reception wanted to hear my story, then asked me to come back later since he was busy. I then said I wanted to check out, but he said I shouldn't check out, as if this was Hotel California. I checked out anywy, but I was not offered any excuse, and had to pay for six nights, even though I only stayed for four. I told the reception why I moved, that I don't feel safe there, and he called the management. They still wanted me to pay for the six nights.
its location, private parking, budget-friendly
old facilities, not very efficient air conditioning, interepted Wi-Fi
A very nice hotel to relax in. Good pool area which was never too busy and clean, pleasant rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffet was quite fine. Location was very good, just outside the hussle and bustle to have a quiet place to relax in but close enough to get to the centre very easily, a bus stops outside every 10 minutes and takes you direct to the main square. Staff friendly and helpful.
i like the peresonal, they work there.
there is no bus station near there.
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean, nice garden and pool.
The hotel is a real maze and there are very few signs to find your way.
Hotel Amine have a beautiful garden and pool with nice view. Good place. Many shop-center and cafe.
Very cold in the night in my room.
hotel is not clean. cooling system start working at 19h!!
For the price it was amazing. Terrific service from very friendly staff who seemed to love their work. Nice hotel Big pool and good bar, with good entertainment on the sunday night. Had a great stay
Only negative is the location, which is a long walk or a taxi ride to anything...weigh it up against the price though and I am more than satisfied. Perhaps the room was a little shabby for a 4-star by european standards, but again, it was incredibly cheap.
Private parking. The receptionist can at least speak and understand english. The hotel is within the city and near the airport.
No wi-fi internet upstairs. Internet signal is only in the lobby. The breakfast was served later than 6:30 A.M. as opposed to their schedule. The street where the hotel was located is so heavy traffic during the afternoon.
His location and swimming p ool
we had to travel next morning, breakfast was not yet ready at 6:30
Cold floor! Needs a rug by each bed. No shampoo in the bathroom. The pillow was too high.
